JAMMU, July 6: Prof Veena Pandita was today re-appointed as chairperson of Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education for two more years.
According to an official spokesperson, Prof Veena Pandita shall continue as chairperson of the J&K BOSE till July 30, 2022.
Earlier the Government had extended Veena Pandita’s term as the Chairperson JKBOSE for a period of two months beyond her date of superannuation on April 30 this year. In April 2018, she was appointed as Chairperson JKBOSE for the first time, for a period of two years.
Pertinent to mention that the Government had constituted a Search Committee for suggesting a panel for appointment of Chairman, J&K BOSE. The Search Committee had also invited applications for the eligible candidates below the age of 58 years.
