KATHUA, June 15: The fast unto death of Panchyat member Suresh Kumar of Panchyat Halqa Pathawal under block Hiranagar entered second day demanding dismissal of Sarpanch of Panchyat Halqa Pathwal.
After having seven days protest dharna in the premises of block Hiranagar, one of Panchs Suresh Kumar sat on fast unto death yesterday. As per statements of Panchyat members out of 11 Panchyat members, ten members show dissatisfaction and distrust on the working of Sarpanch and expressed no confidence on him. The ten Panchyat members including the Panch Kumar Ashwani , Nasib Chand, Neeraj Sharma, Manju Devi, Bharat Bhushan, Narayan Dutt , lsl Singh, Asha Rani and Suresh Kumar submitted a letter of No Confidence Motion to Deputy Commissioner, Kathua against the Sarpanch.
