JAMMU, Mar 18: A Panch has been booked in cheating case by Miran Sahib police.
As per police sources, a compliant was lodged by Som Dutt, son of Kartal Singh, a resident of Miran Sahib with police stating that a Panch identified as Ashwani Kumar, son of Ram Lal, a resident of Nihalpur Simbal had sold a piece of land to him in Rs 25 lakh and had taken Rs 2.5 lakh as token money.
Later, the Panch sold the land to someone else.
Acting over the complaint, a case under Section 420 RPC has been registered at Miran Sahib police station against the Panch and investigation started.
