JAMMU, May 4: The clients/investors of Palm Island Mall today decided to hold strong agitation against the promoters of the Mall Amarnath Choudhary and Radhey Shyam Choudhary for not executing title deeds in favour of the clients and handover possession of the shops.
The decision in this connection was taken unanimously during a meeting of the investors held under the aegis of Rajan Gupta (vice president, Palm Island Clients Co-operative Limited) and Pawan Singh Manhas (general secretary) along with other office bearers Lokesh Sharma, Rajesh Tuli, Anish Jamwal, Vishal, Suri and Pawandeep Sudan.
The meeting observed that due to mismanagement of the Palm Island Mall management under Amarnath Choudhary and Radhey Shyam Choudhary, the Mall is lying shut for the past one year and its power supply has been disconnected by JPDCL.
“Due to misdeeds and ill-conceived intentions of Amarnath Choudhary, his son Radhey Shyam Choudhary and their accomplice Kaka Ram Khajuria, nearly 217 clients/invertors and their dependent families are suffering and facing harassment,” said Rajan Gupta.
He said, “Amarnath Choudhary and his son are not ready to start the Mall thereby jeopardizing the investment made by more than 200 clients. The mischievous goal of Amarnath Choudhary is to fraudulently grab all the commercial spaces in the Mall and take over the Mall under his sole control.”
“Amarnath Choudhary is not only cheating the clients, but also not giving the legitimate share of the Developer Company by signing the desired ownership documents,” Gupta said, while adding that all the clients have vowed to continue the struggle/agitation till the erring Landlord performs his part of role in favour of the clients of the Mall.
