KANPUR: A pall of gloom descended in the Chakeri area of the city following the death of Captain Ayush Yadav during a terror attack in the Kupwara area of Kashmir Valley today.
The native of defence colony in Kanpur, Ayush (26) was the only son of Arun Kant Yadav, who is Inspector in the UP police and presently posted in Chitrakoot. Ayush also has a sister.
After the information of martyrdom of army officer was received, people thronged the residence of Ayush.
His father was so depressed and told reporters that he had spoken to his son last night and the officer was asking them to visit Kashmir.
“When I said that in Kashmir students are throwing stones at security personnel, Ayush had said that there is nothing to worry as he is in Kupwara,” the father said while asked the Government when such attack would be stopped. (AGENCIES)
