Pakistan violates ceasefire, fires 3 rounds in Samba

JAMMU : A day after four militants were killed in a fierce gun-battle in Arnia-sub sector, Pakistan today violated ceasefire by firing three rounds on the forward border outpost in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir. “Pakistani rangers this morning at around 1130 hrs fired three shots at NSP Khoura BoP in Ramgarh Sector of Samba,” official sources here said.
They said the BSF troops also retaliated with similar caliber of weapons and equal number of shots. “The BSF had raised an objection on construction of bunkers by the Pakistani rangers across the border, following which they opened fire, which was responded,” they added. (AGENCIES)
