JAMMU : Violating the ceasefire yet again, Pakistani Rangers today fired small arms at forward border outposts along the International Border in Samba Sector of Jammu region.
“Pakistani troops have fired three to four burst rounds at a forward BoP in Samba along IB during wee hours at around 0245 hrs, thus violating the ceasefire,” official sources here said.
“Small arms were fired from across the border, while BSF also retaliated with similar calibre of weapons,” they added. No injury or damage was reported as exchange of fire lasted for few minutes, they said, adding that, “BSF also fired smoke and light bombs to check if there was any movement of suspects.”
