Pak violates ceasefire on IB

JAMMU, Jan 28: Once again violating the ceasefire on International Border, Pakistani troops resorted to unprovoked firing in Arnia and R S Pura sectors, last night.
The Pak action was retaliated by alert BSF jawans but there was no loss of life or property in exchange of fire on the border.
Reports said that Pakistani troops opened fire from across the border at Pittal Post on this side in Chenaz under Arnia sector around 9.35 pm, last night. The unprovoked Pak firing was retaliated by the BSF jawans and the exchange of fire continued for three hours.
In a similar ceasefire violation, Pakistani troops resorted to unprovoked firing at Nawa Pind in R S Pura sector thus forcing the BSF to retaliate. The exchange of firing continued for a brief period but there was no loss of life or property during the gun battle.
