Srinagar, Dec 5: Pakistani troops today violated ceasefire in North Kashmir’s Gurez sector by firing at Indian posts.
Sources said that Pakistani troops targeted Tarbal posts in Baktoor area of Gurez sector in district Bandipora this afternoon. Pakistani troops fired mortars to target Indian posts. However, there was no loss of life. Indian troops also fired back.
The troops of 36 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and 13 Sikh launched searches in the forest areas of Baktoor for infiltrators as Pakistani troops give cover to infiltrators by ceasefire violations.
