JAMMU: Pakistani Army yet again shelled forward Indian posts by firing mortars along the Line of Control in Poonch and Rajouri districts of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Pakistan Army this morning at around 0620 hrs, initiated indiscriminate firing of small arms, automatics and mortars in Krishna Ghati sector along the Line of Control,” a Defence Spokesman here said.
He said the Indian Army was retaliating strongly and effectively.
The Spokesman further said that Pakistan Army also initiated indiscriminate firing of small arms, automatics RPG, Recoilless Rifles and mortars from 0845 hrs, in Lam sector of Rajouri.
“The Army was retaliating strongly and effectively, while no injury or damage has been reported so far on own side,” he added. (AGENCIES)
