JAMMU, July 11: Pakistani authorities returned the dead body of a villager who had washed away in flood in river Chenab from Akhnoor area few days back.
The family of the deceased Kant Lal, hailing from Akhnoor area was looking for him. They had also lodged a police complaint. It was discovered that Kant had been washed away to Pakistan. The BSF authorities took up the matter with the Pakistani Rangers and today the dead body Kant Lal was handed over to the Indian authorities at Octroi post in R S Pura sector.
