JAMMU: Alert troops of BSF on Monday shot dead an intruder who crossed over from Pakistani side into the Indian Territory along International Border in Ramgarh sector of Samba.
Official sources here said that a Pakistani intruder was shot dead by BSF when he crossed into Indian territory in Ramgarh sector of Samba district during the wee hours.
“At around 0300 hours, a 60-year-old Pakistani intruder was shot dead by BSF near Border Out Post (BOP) S M Pur falling in the Ramgarh sector,” they added.
The body is currently kept at BOP S M Pur, Samba, they said adding that some Pak currency notes were also recovered from his possession.
