JAMMU, Jan 13: A mentally disturbed man from Pakistan today inadvertently entered into Indian territory after crossing International Border in Samba district was arrested by the Border Security Force.
“A 25-year-old mentally disturbed person crossed into this side of International Border in Basantar river area in Ramgarh sub-sector of Samba district early today,” reports said.
“Nothing incriminating was recovered from him,” they said, adding that the man was bare-footed and wore just a Pathan Shilwar and Kameez with a sweater.
He was quizzed by several agencies including BSF but nothing suspicious was found from him.
“He was not doing any reece or anything,” reports said, adding he is unsound and seems have inadvertently crossed into this side.
The man is likely to be handed over to the police, he said.
