JAMMU, Sept 17: Pakistan Army yesterday violated ceasefire on the Line of Control (LoC) in Lam area of Nowshera sector in Rajouri district by resorting to firing on forward Indian positions.
The firing continued for about 45 minutes, official sources said.
This was after a long time that Pakistan Army violated ceasefire in Nowshera sector. This was first time that Pakistan Army resorted to firing after floods struck both Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan occupied Kashmir taking heavy toll of lives.
There were no casualties or damage on the Indian side in the firing, sources said.
