‘Paigam-e-Aman’ tour flagged off

RAJOURI, Nov 18: ”Paigam-e-Aman”, an educational cum motivational tour for students hailing from remote and far flung areas of Rajouri district is being organised by Army from November 18 to 24.
The tour comprising of 23 students and two teachers is being conducted by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion under Romeo Force for the duration of seven days to Jammu and Delhi. The flagging off ceremony of the tour was organised at Manjakote where the students were excited and enthusiastic, as most of them were crossing the boundaries of the state for the first time. During the tour, the students will get an opportunity to visit prestigious educational institutes and historical places.
Brig SK Sharma, Brigade Commander speaking on the occasion, said that the students on tour would extend the message of peace and harmony and will get a unique opportunity to learn about the rich culture and heritage of our country.
