JAMMU, Dec 3: Lambasting People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD), former minister and BJP Prabhari Rajouri, Priya Sethi today said that leaders in PAGD have a history of deceiving J&K people.
She claimed that PAGD has been ‘exploiting and misleading’ the people from the day it was formed.
“They are giving false hopes to the people about restoration of Articles 370 and 35-A,” Sethi said referring to PAGD leaders.
She further said that PAGD is exploiting and misleading J&K people and its leaders are daydreaming about Article 370 restoration.
The BJP leader said her party will never allow PAGD to succeed in its nefarious designs.
Sethi was on tours at Panchayats Dhanma, Dhalogra, Chathiyar, Kalar and other area of Rajouri during campaigning for BJP candidates.
While campaigning for Vipan Mehta at Dhaangri, she questioned the doings of mainstream political parties for the last 70 years and added that in the last six years of being in power, BJP has carried out uncountable developmental works and has taken J&K to new heights.
“BJP has ended 70 years of discrimination in J&K by the abrogation of Article 370,” she maintained adding that the leaders in PAGD have made properties in foreign countries and benefited their own families but deprived the people from their rights.
Sethi said that PAGD leaders are misleading the people on Article 370 restoration.
District BJP president, Rajinder Sharma while speaking on the occasion said political parties boycotting all the elections have now joined hands to befool the people and participate in DDC polls.
“These leaders have sole aim to save their own concerns as they have already lost their credibility,” Sharma said adding that PAGD leaders have nothing to do with the development of J&K.
BJP General Secretary, Ranjeet Tara and others were also present on the occasion.
