Jammu becoming Edu hub under Modi Govt: Chugh

JAMMU, Dec 3: BJP National general secretary and Incharge BJP J&K, Tarun Chugh today said that Union Government under the able leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has elaborate plans to boost the Education sector in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already laid foundation stone of three Model Degree Colleges in J&K, at Kishtwar, Kunwar and Baramulla. The Government will set up almost 22 Degree Colleges, two Culture Universities, an Indian Institute of Managment (IIM) campus, an Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) in Jammu,” Chugh said while addressing series of election meetings here.
Chug further said, BJP masters the politics of development and keeps the interest of the state prior to personal interests. Jammu has emerged as new education hub of North India with all premier educational institutes like IIT, IIM, IIMC, AIIMS. This will certainly play a big role in development of Union Territory of J&K. IIM Jammu will soon start an off-site campus in Srinagar which will also have an incubator & will initially focus on entrepreneurship & executive education. Infact the government has already committed all necessary support in setting up of permanent campus in Srinagar.
“With 360 degree integration of J&K with rest of India, all government policies such as Right to Education is applicable here. This will set up the momentum of development of Education sector in J&K. These revolutionary educational initiatives will be a much-needed relief for the state, which according to unofficial estimates, witnesses about 20,000 students moving out each year for higher education,” Chugh maintained.
He said, the people of Jammu and Kashmir will respond positively to the various educational development avenues and vote for the BJP candidates in the upcoming DDC elections. These elections will certainly be a referendum to the prevailing dynasty politics, BJP leader added.
