SAMBA, Oct 13: A paddy procurement Centre which was established in collaboration with Food Corporation of India (FCI) was today inaugurated at village Ramgarh, Kesoo by Department of Agriculture Samba to facilitate farmers to sell their paddy crop there.
The procurement centre was inaugurated by Chief Agriculture Officer Samba, Kulbushan Sambyal and Suresh Chander Sharma Sub Divisional Agriculture Officer, Samba in presence of staff members of Agriculture Department, prominent citizens and farmers.
The farmers will be given support price at the rate of Rs 1410 for the common paddy Varity and Rs 1450 for Grade A Varity.
