JAMMU, Mar 3: More than 500 people joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmiri in four different joining programmes, in which former Sarpanches, political and social personalities along with hundreds of their supporters joined BJP.
Ram Saroop, former Sarpanch Pargwal (distt Akhnoor/Chhamb) along with supporters, Gurnam Singh, former Sarpanch Ranjitpur, Jammu, along with supporters and Romesh Kumar Gupta, former Sarpanch of district Kathua, along with supporters joined BJP at party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, here.
Anil Singh Chib, senior NC leader from Marh, along with more than 200 supporters joined the party at Akalpur (Marh).
BJP vice-president and former Mayor, Chander Mohan Gupta, Joining Committee Incharge and former MLA, Balwant Singh Mankotia, Committee co-incharge and Minority Morcha president, Ranjodh Singh Nalwa, Committee co-Incharge, Neha Mahajan, welcomed the new entrants in joining programmes at party Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar.
BJP vice-president and former Minister Sham Lal Sharma, Joining Committee Incharge and former MLA, Balwant Singh Mankotia, former MLA, Shiv Dev Singh, party spokesperson, Abhinav Sharma, district president, Omi Khajuria, senior leader, Rajinder Singh Chib welcomed the new entrants during joining programme at Marh.
Sham Lal Sharma, while welcoming the new entrants, said that the popularity of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi led Union Government is unparallel. He said that the Modi Government has earned the respect of the people through its public welfare works that have directly benefitted the poor and the needy population, which was consistently ignored since India’s independence from the British.
Chander Mohan Gupta also welcomed the new entrants and said that the nation has witnessed unprecedented development since 2014 and realized the real potential of every single Indian under the strong leadership of PM Modi. This resurgence is recognized by the people from all corners and they are joining BJP in large numbers.
Balwant Singh Mankotia said that notable personalities from political and social backgrounds are approaching the party leadership as they know that they can serve the society and nation while working in the BJP.
