Over 15000 devotees visit Pingla Mata Shrine

UDHAMPUR, July 16: A one day annual Pingla Mata pilgrimage along with Charri Mubarak was flagged off from Pandav Mandir today with traditional ferver and gaiety.
The yatra was organized by Adi Shakti Sewak Sanstha, Udhampur.
A large number of pilgrims from different areas of the State paid obeisance at the sacred shrine of Pingla Mata, situated on a hill top at village Pinger in tehsil Ramnagar of district Udhampur.
The Adi Shakti Sewak Sanstha, Udhampur took the sacred Akhand joyti from Pandav Mandir, which was lit on July 14, 2013, to the Cave Shrine in the morning.
According to President of the Sanstha, Ashok Gupta, the Akhand Jyoti was attended by over 15000 devotees. He said that free bus service was also arranged for the devotees from Udhampur to the cave shrine. Besides, free langar was organised at the shrine.
Vice President, Ajay Kumar Gudda, General Secretary, Rajinder Singh, Sarpanch, Mulkh Raj, members of the Sanstha and a large number of devotees attended the sacred jyoti in the yatra.
