JAMMU, Jan 29: Sure Diagnostic Lab here today organized a free orthopaedic check-up camp in which Dr. Rakesh Sharma, (MS Ortho, AO Fellow Germany) Life Member India Orthopaedic Association, rendered his services.
Around 100 patients were examined in the camp and free medicines were distributed.
BJP Mahila Morcha J&K chief spokesperson, Ritika Trehan was guest of honour.
Dr. Rakesh Sharma while speaking on the occasion said that needs and capabilities of orthopaedic health have now changed.
“Bone loss is now more common. The joints have started to wear out and aren’t what they were years back. Your orthopaedic structure requires proper care to stay strong,” he maintained.
BJP leader Ritika Trehan said that good health should be top priority of each and every one as there is well known saying that sound mind resides in a sound body.
“No matter what’s our age at present, it’s the best time to start caring more about the health of our bones and joints. Find a good orthopaedic doctor and visit the clinic for a regular checkup. Make regular orthopaedic check-ups a part of your annual healthcare routine and move forward confidently to be physically fit and healthy,” she said.
On this occasion, Director and Chief Pathologist, Dr Sumedha Mengi said that Sure Lab is in Service of Humanity and will organize such camps in Future also.
