JAMMU, Dec 13: A six days orientation training programme organized for the Principals of Doda and Kishtwar districts on the “Educational Planning and Financial Management” by the Planning and Management Wing of State Institute of Education (SIE) Jammu concluded today.
The training programme was conducted under the supervision of HR Pakhroo, Joint Director (trgs), Principal SIE Jammu for enhancing the administrative skills, managerial skills, leadership aptitude and knowledge of the financial rules and regulations fir the participants principals.
Near about 40 principals from the two districts of Doda and Kishtwar participated in the training programme.
Various sessions on financial rules and regulations were taken up in depth by Lochan Dass, Director Accounts and Treasuries, SL Pandita, Director Finance School Education Department, ML Sharma, senior Accounts Officer from Accountant General’s Office and Suresh Kumar Gouria, RO, SIE Jammu.
Similarly several session on educational leadership development administrative/managerial skill development, delegation of authority and accountability, stress management, etc were taken up in depth by SK Raina, Senior Field Advisor SIE Jammu, Dr RK Sharma, RIE Ajmer, JK Sudan, CEO SIE Jammu, Ajit Kumar Sharma, CEO Jammu and Jagdish Raj Sharma, Principal.
The valedictory function of training programme was presided over by Saroop Kumar Raina, senior Field Advisor SIE Jammu, Chief Coordinator of the programme, who impressed upon the participant Principals to fully explore the knowledge acquired by them during the training for excellent administration and creating a conducive academic atmosphere in their respective institutions/job places.
He also laid stress on the participant head of institutions to inculcate spiritual values and ensure intellectual development of the students pursing education in their respective institutions.
The proceedings of the occasion were conducted by Suresh Kumar Gouria, Research Officer (Coordinator), SIE Jammu.
Besides this, Ajit Kumar Sharma, Brij Lal, SL Tingloo and Mohammad Sharief, Field Advisors of SIE Jammu were also present during the valedictory programme.
Reeti Manhas, Navratni Sharma and Puneet Thukral, Research Officers and Master Kailash Kotwal provided logistic support, while as Anil Sharma provided audio visual support as well as presented vote of thanks.
