JAMMU, Jan 16: Highlighting the people-centric and pro-development schemes and projects launched by BJP led NDA Government at the Centre, Member of Parliament & former State president of the party Jugal Kishore Sharma, while addressing public gathering at Bishnah under “Vikas Sushasan Sankalp Rallies, said that for the first time the people are feeling that a stable, strong and transparent Government is there at the centre.
He said that the belief of the masses is getting stronger with each passing day as the new works being initiated by it are the beginning towards a self sufficient, well developed nation, where women, youth, farmers, border people, ex-servicemen, down trodden, all feel that each one of them is being included in the scheme of things of NDA.
He said that recruitment drive for border youth, provision of five marla plots for border people at safer places and Pradhanmantri Fasal Bima Scheme are few path breaking initiatives of the Union government. He informed the gathering that the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh will be approached to visit the border areas for on the spot assessment of the situation and the problems being faced by them.
Former State President & MLC Ashok Khajuria said that it is most unfortunate that the leaders of opposition parties cannot see the development and welfare schemes but keep misleading the people on false, baseless propaganda. He said that these parties must change their mindset and make it a habit to digest the realities and appreciate the government for its sincere efforts towards development and good governance.
Former Minister & MLA Chander Parkash Ganga said that the BJP in the State had gone to the people with the promise of good governance, development and ending corruption and during our 10 month government, there was not even a single case of corruption, work culture was introduced and various schemes meant for welfare of common people were launched. He said that the developmental activities will continue to be undertaken and asked the people to avail the benefits of welfare schemes.
Ex-MLA Ashwani Sharma said that Bishnah Constituency has been getting due care and attention by the BJP and the party MP and ministers in previous Coalition Government did a lot for development of its areas.
