Srinagar, May 28: Opposition National Conference (NC) and Congress MLAs today walkout out of Legislative Assembly over non-rehabilitation of September 2014 flood victims of Kashmir valley.
The Opposition took to their feet as soon as the proceedings of the House started this morning. The NC and Congress members raised slogans against the Coalition Government and accused it of failing to rehabilitate flood victims.
The opposition legislators stormed into the well of the House and they were demanding adjournment motion on flood rehabilitation and recent killing of two militants in Srinagar.
Amid sloganeering, the members of the Opposition staged a walkout from the House as the Speaker rejected their demand. Later, the members returned back to the House and took part in the proceedings.
