Srinagar, Oct 3: Security forces today launched a massive search operation at Arin Bowl in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
An official said that after receiving specific inputs, the searches were launched after receiving specific inputs about the movement of militants in the area.
The search operation has been jointly launched by the Bandipora Police, Army and special forces at Arin Bowl Bandipora.
Recently two LeT commanders were killed in an encounter with the security forces in the area.
In the meantime, a 44-year old man Muhammad Shafi Dar son of Abdur Rehman Dar, a resident of Batamaloo area of Srinagar who was shot a last evening succumbed to injuries during the night.
