JAMMU, Feb 12: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is conducting entrance tests for Management Programmes (Openmat-XXXVII) for the session starting from July, 2015, on February 15.
The test is being organized from 10 am to 1 pm at 71 Examination Centres spread all over the Country and accommodating 5,837 candidates.
Under Jammu region, there is only one Examination Centre (Code: 1201) for (Openmat-XXXVII) for which the examination would be held in the Examination Halls, Directorate of Distance Education, University of Jammu.
The Hall-tickets have already been uploaded on the university website and the candidates have been informed through SMS and E-mail to download the hall ticket for appearing in the entrance test of the university by entering name and date of birth and report to the Examination Centre.
In case candidates are unable to download the Hall-Ticket, they can contact the Regional Centre and obtain the information of Examination Centre allocated and report to the Examination Centre with a proof of submission of Entrance Test application form along with recent passport size photograph.
In such case they have to submit an undertaking at the Examination Centre stating that in the event of information furnished by them found to be incorrect, their candidature will be cancelled. Candidates must report at the Examination Centre 45 minutes before commencement of the Entrance Test.
The university has deputed Observers in all 71 Examination Centres to ensure smooth conduct of the entrance test.
