Online interactive workshop organized

JAMMU, May 27: The School of Business Studies, Central University of Jammu organized an online interactive workshop ‘Digital Marketing insights’.
The event under the direction of the Dean, School of Business Studies, Prof Jaya Bhasin, Dr Shahid Mushtaq and Asif Ali, was organized by Juhi Gandral. It was an academia-industry collaboration, wherein, industry insights were brought forward by guest speaker, Pankaj Gandotra, Marketing Manager, Aviva Life Insurance and academic insights were preceded by faculty member, Juhi Gandral.
The event received registrations of over 50 participants from MBA and BVoc courses. Students present shared that it was indeed a rich learning experience for them.
Juhi, who is primarily engaged in the field of Artificial Intelligence research with the University of Jammu, added that digital marketing is a global marketing trend these days. What marketers need to understand more is how to optimize it for the times to come. Unprecedented times like these, call for a better understanding of sustainable business solutions, fueled by knowledge of the contemporary tools and online branding concepts.
The discussion revolved around the use cases of Artificial Intelligence in businesses, followed by Q&A.
Appreciating the organizers, Pankaj said that events like these help the students witness the synergy of academic and industry worlds collectively.
