Online 2nd International Conference concludes

JAMMU, Sept 20: Two days online 2nd International Conference “Research & Innovations in Science & Technology RISET-20 on the theme of Industry 4.0 Generation”, organized by Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology in collaboration with IIT Bombay (Spoken Tutorial ), Department of Electronics, University of Jammu and Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers, Jammu Centre concluded.
On the first day of the conference, Prof Adrian Hopgood, Professor of Intelligent Systems, University of Portsmouth, UK gave his keynote speech on “Practical Artificial Intelligence using Complementary Techniques”. Dr Arun Prakash Arangaon from University of Manchester, UK gave keynote speech on “Opportunities around Graphene and it’s Technologies” and Prof RK Shyamasundar, Professor Emeritus, IIT Bombay delivered keynote speech on “Machine Learning”.
On the concluding day, Professor Vivek Borkar from IIT Bombay delivered his keynote speech on “Getting around in a networked world”. Dr Balakrishna Ananthoju from UK gave keynote speech on “Defect Enhanced SERS from Graphene-Gold”. Dr Rakesh Kumar from UK delivered keynote speech on “Generation of Sensors”. Prof JV Aghav from College of Engineering, Pune delivered his keynote speech on Machine Learning Applications.
A large number of research papers from India and abroad have been received and after peer review of papers, selected papers were presented during parallel session on various streams of the conference and published in UGC approved IJSTA journal.
It was followed by project ideas presentation by students in parallel session in the streams of Civil/Mechanical/CSE/IT/E&C/Electrical Engineering respectively.
On the valediction ceremony, Er Rajnish Magotra welcomed special guests and panel of experts Prof Parveen Kumar Lehana, HoD, Department of Electronics, Jammu University, Prof Pawneesh Abrol, Chairman, IETE, Er Vijay Sharma, Secretary, IETE, Jammu, Prof RK Manocha, Ex-Professor, IBS, Ghaziabad, Prof Naresh Trivedi, Sunderdeep Engineering College, Ghaziabad, Prof Gautam Kumar, CMR Engineering College, Hyderabad and all participants of the conference.
Prof Pawneesh Abrol announced the best paper and best project idea winners and gave awards.
Prof (Dr) AK Srivastava, Director, YCET and Convenor summarized the conference events and gave his concluding speech.
Er Dinesh Gupta, HoD Computer & Electrical and organizing secretary gave vote of thanks.
Er Loveneesh Talwar, Er Robin Kumar, Er Neeraj Pandita and Er Kamal Kishor coordinated the conference.
