JAMMU, Oct 31: Special Mobile Magistrate Udhmapur Sandeep Kour today awarded one year imprisonment and fine of Rs 5000 to Abdul Rashid in rash and negligent driving in which one lady was killed.
According to the police case, on 19.05.2016 an information was received in Police Station Rehambal that a car bearing Registration No. JK02AR-2531 driven by Abdul Rashid, son of Mohd Ramzan of Chiryai hit a pedestrian namely Swarna Devi and injured her seriously. She, later, succumbed to injuries.
After hearing Senior Public Prosecutor Kuldeep Bhat, Special Mobile Magistrate awarded one year imprisonment to the driver.
