SAMBA, Oct 31: As a part of intensified drive against the criminals, special teams of PS Bari Brahmana and PS Ghagwal constituted on the directions of Dr. Koshal Sharma, SSP Samba arrested three absconders wanted in different case FIRs lodged at these Police Stations.
A Police team of PS Bari Brahmana headed by Inspector, Ravinder Singh Rakwal, SHO Bari Brahmana and under the direct supervision of Sunil Kesar, SDPO Bari Brahmana conducted raids at different suspicious places in and out of the district Samba and finally succeeded in apprehending the absconders from Bhalra, Bhaderwah, district Doda with the assistance of Doda Police.
The accused persons have been identified as Mohd Farooq S/o Mohd Hanief and Farooq Ahmed, S/o Gh. Hassan both residence of Misrata Gatti, Bhaderwah who were wanted in case FIR NO. 34/2011 U/S 379/411 RPC of PS Bari Brahmana. These absconders who were evading their arrest for the last seven years after commission of crime were produced in the court of law. Thus warrant issued against him under 512 CrPC got executed and the accused persons send to Sub- Jail Hiranagar.
In a similar effort put forth by Police Party of P/S Ghagwal, headed by SI Bansi Lal, SHO P/S Ghagwal and under the supervision of Deepak Digra, Dy.SP Headquarters an absconder was arrested from Ghagwal who was wanted in case FIR NO. 67/2014 U/S 188 RPC 2/3 P.C Act at P/S Ghagwal and was on run for the last four years.
The accused person identified as Bashir Ahmed, S/o Dalbir Ahmed, R/o Agra Chack R.S. Pura, Jammu has been produced in the court of law and thus the arrest warrant issued against him got executed.
