JAMMU, Nov 23: One more person was arrested for assaulting oil-tanker driver, which had taken place near Nandini area few days back.
As per police sources, six drunken youth assaulted a driver of oil tanker in Nandini area, falling under the jurisdiction of Jhajjar Kotli police station few days back.
Acting swiftly, police arrested three persons, while hunt for three others has been launched and one more person was nabbed today.
The fourth person arrested has been identified as Ranjeet Singh, son of Davinder Singh, a resident of Pouni, district Reasi. The Swift Dzire car bearing registration number JK20-6199 was also seized by the police.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Jhajjar Kotli police station Inspector Ravinder Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Bharat Bhushan Sharma and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
