JAMMU, May 15: Crackdown over absconders continued in the district as Jhajjar Kotli police arrested one more absconder, who was evading his arrest for the past four years.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Jhajjar Kotli police station conducted a raid and arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest since 2011.
The accused has been identified as Manzoor Hussain, son of Karamat Ali of Village Ragoora, Jammu.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR number 106/2011under Section 188 RPC with police station Jhajjar Kotli.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Jhajjar Kotli police station SI Hilal Azhar made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Bharat Bhushan, Incharge SP Rural Shiv Kumar Singh Chouhan and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
It is to mention here that, during the intervening night of May 5 and 6, 2015, Jhajjar Kotli police had also arrested two absconders.
