DODA, May 15: Super Kings Eleven (SKE) Doda beat Chenab Cricket Club (CCC) Doda by 59 runs in the ongoing All India 11th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship, being organized by Young Star Cricket Club Doda at Sports Stadium, here.
The tournament is being sponsored by J&K Bank, Rashtriya Rifles Bn Doda and Natnoo Furnishing House Doda.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, SKE Doda scored a decent total of 189 runs for the loss of 1 wicket in the stipulated 20 overs.
A superb innings was played by Mohinder Singh of SKE Doda who scored unbeaten 114 runs while
Vijay Kumar contributed with 51 runs.
In reply, CCC Doda managed to score only 130 runs by losing 8 wickets in the allotted overs, thus lost the match by a big margin of 59 runs..
Zuhaib Rangrez was the top scorer from CCC Doda who scored 46 runs for his team while Imran Zaffar made 18 runs. From SKE Doda, Ravinder and Shashi shared one wicket each. Mohinder Singh was declared as man of the match for his best batting performance.
The match was officiated by Munish Zutshi and Irshad Malik as umpires while Salin Singh acted as scorer.
