JAMMU, Sept 4: A 5-year-old child was killed while two others were injured when a tractor hit them in Gole Gujral area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, a rashly driven tractor tonight three persons including a woman pedestrian and his 5-year-old son and left them seriously injured. He all the three was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where the child was declared as brought dead by the doctors.
The other two injured persons were being provided treatment and their condition was stated to be stable till the last reports came in. The deceased child was identified as Prabu son of Mohinder Patel, resident of Chattisgarh (at present Kherian pencil factory) while the woman was identified as Ganeshi (30). The third injured was identified as Raju (42) son of Gaind Ram of Chattisgarh.
The concerned police has registered a case in this connection and started investigations.
