One killed, two injured as gas tanker plunges into gorge

RAMBAN, Dec 4: One person was killed and two others received injuries, when the gas tanker they were travelling in, skidded off the road and plunged into gorge near Nachilana area, falling under the jurisdiction of Ramsu police station.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number NL02N-8165, was on its way to Srinagar from Jammu, when the driver failed to negotiate sharp curve and the vehicle landed into gorge, resulting into on the spot death of one person and serious injuries to two others.
After getting information, police team led by SHO Ramsu Muneer Khan rushed to the spot and with the help of locals, shifted the injured persons to PHC Ramsu, where they were undergoing treatment, when reports last came in.
The deceased has been identified as Ramandeep Singh, while the injured were identified as Mandeep Singh and Rajinder Singh. The deceased and injured persons were residents of Jagraon, Ludhiana.
A case under FIR Number 96/16 has been registered at Ramsu police station and investigation started.
