DODA, July 4: One person was killed while two others were injured due to electric short in two houses here at village Bhargi.
As per police sources, a man identified as Nazir Ahmed (65) son of Aziz Sheikh, resident of Bhargi (Gandoh) and two persons from another house of the same village were injured when while doing their routine work at their residences, they received severe electric shock due to sudden eruption of fault in the power line.
The injured persons were shifted to Community Health Center Gandoh, where Nazir Ahmed was declared as brought dead by the doctors. The condition of the injured persons namely Mohd Imran son of Mohd Shafi and Jabeena daughter of Mohd Shafi, was stated to be stable.
SSP Doda, Mohd Shabir, said police has taken cognizance in this regard and lodged a FIR No 50 under Sections 304 A/337 at police station Gandoh.
