Pilgrim dies of suspected cardiac arrest

JAMMU, July 4: A pilgrim died today due to suspected cardiac arrest here in the premises of Bagh-e-Bahu temple.
According to a police spokesman, a male pilgrim of age about 32 years suddenly fell unconscious this morning in the premises of Bagh-e-Bahu temple.
He said in unconscious condition, the man was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors.
“The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for identification/ post mortem”, he said, adding, Bagh-e-Bahu police had initiated inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC in the case.
