Srinagar, July 3: Police today said a person was killed while three others were injured in two separate road accidents in Valley.
A police spokesman said a Tipper bearing registration number JK04B-7040 hit and injured three pedestrians namely Naseer Ahmad Kumar, Aijaz Ahmad Kumar and Yawar Ahmad Kumar at Lethpora in south Kashmir’s Awantipora area of Pulwama district.
“All the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital Pampore for treatment where Yawar Ahmad Kumar succumbed to his injuries. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
The spokesman said a Scooty bearing registration number JK02C-8149 hit and injured a pedestrian namely Amarjeet Singh at Pehroo Chowk in Nowgam here on city outskirts. “The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he added.
