One killed, three injured in accidents

SAMBA, Oct 11: One person got killed, while three others received injuries in road accidents at different locations in the district.
As per police sources, a Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK02W-9836 hit a pedestrian near Nanke Chak Link Road late last night, resulting into on the spot death of the person.
After getting information, police rushed to the spot and shifted the body of the deceased to District Hospital Samba, from where it was handed over to family members for last rites.
The deceased has been identified as Haridwar, son of Sari, a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
Meanwhile, father and his son got injured, when the motorcycle (JK08B-4930) they were riding on was hit by a car bearing registration number HP22B-0558.
The injured identified as Tarsem Raj (51), son of Amarnath, a resident of Marheen, district Kathua and his son Arun Sharma were shifted to District Hospital, where their condition was stated to be stable, when reports last came in.
In another incident, a man got injured, when the cycle he was riding was hit by a Santro car bearing registration number PB10CS-9277 at Barian, Supwal.
The injured cyclist identified as Amar Singh (34), son of Sher Singh of Bandral was rushed to Government Hospital Vijaypur, from where he was later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for advanced treatment.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at concerned police stations and investigation started.
