SAMBA, Nov 6 : One scooty rider was killed on the Khour -Salaria Highway in the area under Ramgarh Police Station today after his scooty was hit by the bike.
According to the reports two boys namely Deepak and Ajay were riding on Yamaha bike bearing registration number, JK02BS-5251. The police has arrested Ajay Kumar while Deepak is still absconding. The deceased has been identified as Tilak Singh, son of Sardar Singh resident of Vijaypur. He was coming on scooty from Nandpur Ramgarh along with his wife Charanjit Kaur. The two bike riders Deepak and Ajay hit the scooty. After the accident, the people of Khour took him to Ramgarh CHC where the doctors declared Tilak Singh as brought dead while his wife is under going treatment.
Meanwhile a car hit a person in Ramgarh market who sustained serious injuries. The market people rushed him to Ramgarh CHC and after giving first aid to him he was referred to GMC Jammu. The injured has been identified as Sham Lal Gupta, son of late Baldev Raj, resident of Ramgarh. The police has started investigation in both the cases.
