SAMBA, June 26: One person was killed after the motor cycle bearing number JK08A, 9295 which he was driving was hit by a load carrier bearing number JK21A5630 near Mawa Chowk at Vijaypur.
The deceased has been identified as Kewal Singh, S/o Kandh Singh Madwal. He died on the spot. The driver of load carrier fled from the spot after the accident.
This enraged the people who assembled on road and protested. The irate mob set the load carrier ablaze.
The police has registered a case under relevant sections of the law.
