JAMMU, June 25: A man was killed after falling from a scooty near Udheywala, while another accident victim succumbs to injuries at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu here.
The deceased were identified Rajesh Kumar Yadav of Chattisgarh and Raj Kumar, son of Pritam Chand of Deoli Tehsil Bishnah. Rajesh Kumar Yadav died due to fall from scooty, while Raj Kumar due to collision between motorcycle and Eco car. Raj Kumar was admitted in GMCH Jammu on June 20 this year, where he failed to respond to the treatment and succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of Eco car identified as Ashok Kumar, a resident of Deoli, Tehsil Bishnah, District Jammu has been arrested.
After conducting post-mortem, the bodies of the deceased were handed over to family members for last rites.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at Police Stations Domana and Bishnah and investigation started.
