SAMBA, Sept 1: One scoterist was killed while another was seriously injured when an unknown vehicle hit the two wheeler on which they were riding at Devika bridge in Vijaypur area of Samba district this evening.
The dead has been identified Sham Lal, son of Girdhari Lal of Vijaypur while the injured was identified as Paramjit Singh, son of Prem Nath also of Vijaypur. They were shifted to Vijaypur Hosptial where doctors declared Sham as brought dead while the seriously injured was referred to GMC Jammu where his condition is stated to be critical.
The Vaijaypur police ahs registered a case. The body of deceased will be handed over to his family members after postmortem tomorrow.
