JAMMU, Apr 10: One person died while another was injured in two separate road accidents at Nagrota area here, police said on Monday.
They said Rakesh Maini (49) son of Uttam Singh of Hari Singh Nagar, Rehari Colony, was injured after the motorcycle he was driving slipped off the road yesterday at Nagrota area on the Jammu-Srinagar Highway.
He went LAMA (Leaving Against Medical Advice) to Amandeep Hospital in Punjab where he expired today.
Meanwhile, an unidentified male, aged around 35, suffered injuries after he was hit by an unknown vehicle at Sitni Nagrota.
He was taken to Government Medical College Jammu where he is undergoing treatment.
Police in Nagrota area have registered cases under relevant sections of the law and taken up further investigations.
