One killed, another injured in accident

KISHTWAR, May 19: One person was killed and another injured as a vehicle of Tipper make bearing registration number JK17-2949 overturned near Shalimar Morh on Kishtwar-Batote Highway this evening.

After the accident, the two persons on board the vehicle received grievous injuries.

Sameer Hussain, son of Mohd Yaseen, resident of Tangwari, Kishtwar got stuck under the tipper and by the time he could be rescued, he succumbed to his injuries and died whereas Tanveer Ahmed, son of Mohd Sultan Lone, resident of Wazgwari, Kishtwar was injured and was undergoing treatment at District Hospital Kishtwar till last reports.
