RAMBAN, June 25: One person was killed while one other was injured when a trolley break down near Banihal.
As per police sources, two workers were engaged in mountain cutting when a trolley broke down near Banihal.
One person died on the spot, while other received injuries and was rushed to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Banihal, where he was undergoing treatment, when last reports came in.
The deceased was identified as Sunny Kumar (23), son of Khem Raj, a resident of Mano Kota, Gandoh Doda district, while the injured was identified as Hoshiyar Singh (24), son of Bal Krishan, a resident of Tipri Bajwa District Kishtwar.
After conducting post-mortem, the body of the deceased was handed over to family members for last rites.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Banihal and investigation started.
