SAMBA, May 5: One pedestrian died after he was hit by a bus bearing Number JK02 AV 5828 at Bishnah today. His identity could not be ascertained. The man appeared to be of 26 to 27 years age. He was rushed to GMC by police where he succumbed to his injuries.
In another accident at Sarore Adda in Bari Brahmana tehsil a motorcyclist was injured after his two wheeler bearing registration number JMU 1943 AD was hit by a Video Coach bus bearing number JK02 AG 5728 which was on its way from Jammu to Delhi.
The motor cyclist was identified Mohammed Saleem, 45, son of Fakir Din of Sunkari Bari Brahmana. He was shifted to GMC, Jammu for treatment in a serious condition.
