KATHUA, May 5: Propagating the message to crush the anti-national secessionist ideology nationwide in the backdrop of sedition rows in the country and Kashmir in particular, JKNPP’s `Tiranga rally’ after receiving rousing reception at Karnal, Ambala, Ludhiana, Jalandhar and Pathankot reached Madhopur (J&K-Punjab order) this evening.
The rally which was spearheaded by Harshdev Singh, chairman NPP, Balwant Singh Mankotia State president NPP and Yashpal Kundal, State president Young Panthers received an overwhelming response from the people especially the youth all across the cities.
Expressing anguish over the BJP for its gross surrender on the NIT Kashmir row, Harsh Dev Singh stated that ever since the BJP had come to power both at the Centre and the State, the country had witnessed several socio- political turbulences and conflicts. Flaying the Pseudo nationalist ideology of the Saffron party, Mr Singh lambasted the BJP’s doctrine of ‘Zero tolerance’. Moreover, the Saffron party along with its partner PDP despicably facilitated amnesty to the stone pelters and anti nationals during the NIT row.
Accusing the BJP for changing colours, Harshdev rebuked the Saffron Party for its duplicity and double standards. He said that while on one side it disseminated the nationalistic preaching of Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee but on the other surrendered before the Kashmir centric and other anti- national forces. He said that the malevolent designs of the BJP Govt to suppress the NIT student agitation had further emboldened the anti national forces all across the country and that was the reason that Panthers Party decided to hold the Tiranga rally in the national interest. He said that the rally which had started from Lal Quila, Delhi shall culminate at Lal Chowk Kashmir to hoist the Tricolour to uphold its sanctity, dignity and honour.
