SRINAGAR, Oct 29: One person died while as nine others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir valley.
Reports said that a Maruti car JK01J/4365 hit and injured a lady Ashi, aged 65 years, wife of Ghulam Ahmad Wani resident of Magraypora-Chadoora in Budgam district. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment, where she succumbed to her injuries.
A Santro car JK18/4953 hit and injured a pedestrian Shahmala, aged 61 years, widow of Late Ghulam Mohammad Wani resident of Amnoo- Kulgam at Kulgam. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
A motorcycle JK01/1143 collided with a Tata 407 minibus JK01E/7684 near Bus Stop Saida Kadal, resulting in injuries to motorcyclist, pillion mate and a pedestrian. The injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
A LP Mazda JK05/5041 hit and injured a person Abdul Khaliq, aged 45 years, son of Abdul Rehman resident of Gulab Baghi, Poshker-Magam in Budgam district. The injured has been shifted to hospital for treatment.
A Tata Sumo JK05C/5941 collided with an Alto car JK01Q/4003 near Dagger Canteen, Baramulla, resulting in injuries to the Alto driver and a passenger. The injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
A Wagon-R JK05B/9331 hit a motorcycle at Palhallan- Pattan, resulting in injuries to motorcyclist Mehfooz Ahmad Wani, son of Mohammad Maqbool resident of Mustafabad-HMT and one Sameer Ahmad Ganie, son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Daulatpora. Both the injured were shifted to SKIMS, Soura for treatment. Police have taken cognizance in all the cases.
