JAMMU : One person was killed and 40 injured when a bus rolled down into a nullah in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir this morning.
“A bus on way from Ramnagar to Udhampur skidded off the road and rolled down into a nullah near Barta area, just few kms away from its destination,” police said.
They said one person identified as Madan Lal, who was standing along the roadside, was hit by the bus and he too fell into the nullah and died.
A rescue operation was immediately launched by the police and Army and all the injured were shifted to district hospital. (AGENCIES)
